Weekly Meals and Workouts 1/13

Hey there!

I can’t believe the weekend is over. It was definitely a good one! As I sit here on the couch waiting for revenge to come on, I finally have a chance to relax and catch up on some work.

This marks my last week of break from school – so sad. I’ll be spending it at work most days and preparing for the upcoming semester on my free time. Hard to believe it’s ending, and I’m really not ready for school to start up again – guess I’ll have to get over that!

Since the week looks to be a busy one, my weekly plan will definitely help keep my stress level down ;)

Meal Plan

Sunday: Mitch’s Birthday Dinner (grilled branzino, veggies, and roasted potatoes)

Monday: Sauteed Shrimp, Sundried tomato-basil wheat berrie salad and leftover grilled vegetables

Tuesday:  Homemade {healthified} “chicken parm” (experiment) with whole wheat pasta and spinach

Wednesday: Grilled buffalo burgers with sweet potato fries and salad

Thursday: Out to dinner with friends

Friday: leftovers

Saturday: Sundried-tomato encrusted Salmon (experiment), curry roasted acorn squash, and rice pilaf

Workout Plan

Monday: Ballroom dancing and teach spin

Tuesday: 30 minutes bike, 10 minutes elliptical, leg workout with Jess

Wednesday: 5 miles (speed), strength workout

Thursday: Bootcamp

Friday: 6 miles hill/easy, strength workout

Saturday: OFF

Sunday: 9 miles

I switched around my running days from what’s on my half marathon training plan to go along with my schedule. Mileage and workouts stayed the same, just on a different day ;)

I got home later today than I anticipated, so my grocery shopping will take place tomorrow instead. The list is ready, all I need to do is pick up the few things we need!

I’m ready to tackle the upcoming week :)  -  Are you?!

  2. I love reading your menu planning. Everything always sounds so delicious! You are never stuck in a rut with your dinners. I always make the same stuff. I need to branch out more!

I think I am ready for the coming week. At least I hope so. The weekend wiped me out. Having an extra day off would be nice, even though I know I can’t have one. :/
