Hey there!
How’s your weekend going? Mine is flying by, but it’s good!
I finally got the chance to prep lots of food for the week between today and yesterday. I got in a 9 mile run this morning and am heading to a family party in a bit – all to be talked about tomorrow
For now, here’s my tentative plan for the week! Now that classes have started, these will be my saving grace when it comes to the end of the day
Meal Plan
Sunday: Family Party
Monday: Crockpot Turkey Sausage and Peppers (experiment) with mashed cauliflower and whole wheat bread on the side
Tuesday: Chicken Chili and Cornbread (new recipe to test) – taken to school for night class
Wednesday: Leftovers
Thursday: Roasted Salmon with sweet potato fries and broccoli
Friday: Homemade veggie pizza and a salad on the side
Saturday: out to dinner/wing it
Workout Plan
Monday: Strength workout with Jess, ballroom dance lesson, teaching spin
Tuesday: 6 mile tempo run @ 8:14, leg workout with a friend, teaching spin (on&off the bike)
Wednesday: Strength workout and 10 minutes on the bike
Thursday: 10 mile long run (I work the weekend)
Friday: OFF
Saturday: 6 miles hill/easy and 20 minutes abs
Sunday: OFF
There you go! A weeks worth of meals and workouts planned and weekly prep is done – I’m ready to tackle the week!
How do you prepare for the week ahead?
Enjoy this lovely Sunday!

Did I know you teach spin? Which cert did you do? I teach RPM and love it.
Sounds like a fun, busy week!

I’m certified through maddogg! I love it! I haven’t taught in a few months and was itching to get back on the bike. Now I teach twice a week
What do you mean by spin on and off the bike? PS that crockpot turkey sausage sounds so good!

To become a better instructor, I like to get comfortable teaching my classes while on the bike, but also off the bike walking around motivating my students – I like to help people realize their own potential to push themselves without relying on my movement on the bike. — Thanks! I’m hoping it turns out good – it sure smells yummy!
I made a new recipe in my slow cooker with sirloin and lots of veggies. I doubled the recipe so that I can have a lot of leftovers during the week.
