Quinoa Flakes and Nemo

Good morning!!

I lucked out this morning because my biochem lab and class got cancelled!! However, I was already up and done with my workout before receiving the email, so I decided to get some errands done before Nemo hits.

When I got back from the gym, I made myself a new-to-me breakfast that’s similar to my oats. A couple weeks ago, I picked these up at whole foods to try them out:

IMG_5777I decided to first try them out for breakfast. Next, I’ll try them in some baking experiments ;)

I made my usual oats – just minus the oats and + the quinoa flakes. I mixed in a 1/3 cup lactaid cottage cheese and blueberries and topped it with some sunflower butter and granola. Cup of coffee on the side obv ;)

IMG_5779 IMG_5781This was definitely a yummy high protein breakfast – great for after my early morning strength workout ;)

Can’t wait to try this new product in some baking projects!

I’m off to do some homework, run errands, and relax on this day off :)
