Good Morning!
Happy Monday
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are ready for another week!
My weekend didn’t go quite as planned, but it was still a good one!
After my 13 miler on Thursday and a leg workout Friday, I decided to take the weekend off from strenuous exercise to give my body the break it’s asking for. Since my shin has been bothering me, I knew it was a good idea. Fingers crossed my run tomorrow goes ok!
Friday started out with class and ended with sushi dinner and drinks with some awesome ladies.
A great way to start the weekend!
Saturday consisted of work and crappy weather that kept me from driving up to see some of my best friends :/ Although I was upset, I had to just go with it – better safe than sorry!
Staying home actually gave me a little more time to study for the multiple exams on the agenda this week – exciting stuff, I know.
I got to sleep in Sunday morning which felt AWESOME! I love lazy mornings <3
Since we had an open house planned (more coming about that soon!), I packed up my stuff and headed into Mitch’s office to get some work/studying done. I packed myself a scrumptious lunch to fuel my brain to get me through the day. I’d choose packing my own intricate salad over buying one any day!

After multiple hours of studying, we could finally get back into our house. Lots of food prep and planning for my sisters wedding went on before I plopped on the couch and watched some of the Oscars before crashing hard into bed – strange how, when I get to sleep in, I’m more tired at the end of the day!

First of my exams starts tomorrow, so today will be filled with LOTS of studying and reviewing.
I headed to the gym early this morning to get in a quick sweat session filled with cardio and abs/stretching since I know I’ll be at a desk most of the day. I will be taking a little break later on for some ballroom dancing
Breakfast consisted of my High Protein Scramble – forgot how good it is!
Topped with PB, fresh blueberries, and a sprinkle of granola made it even better
Time to buckle down and review the digestive tract and the microorganisms in our food – interesting stuff
Question: Pack your own lunch or pick up a ready-to-go option. Which do you prefer?

I have packed my own lunch for almost 3 years! I make it every night while I am getting dinner ready so I have no excuses morning of.

I’m really trying my best to pack a lunch every day. It’s been saving me a ton of money, and I like knowing exactly what I’m getting nutrition-wise!
