Since it’s the end of the month, it’s time to share what I received from my foodie penpal for February! Foodie Penpals is a program started by Lindsay @ The Lean Green Bean. On the 5th of every month you receive your match and have until the 15th to get together and send a package of goodies. At the end of the month, you share what your penpal got you! I’ve participated before, but took a few months off since things have been crazy lately. I was excited to start back up this month
This time around I got paired with a blog reader, Shannon. She put together a wonderful box for me that has some really yummy goodies
Once I removed the top layer and read Shannon’s sweet note, I was excited to see such delicious looking food! (Huge Foodie over here )
Roasted Garlic Salsa and Tortilla chips. We have a bag of blue tortilla chips open already, so I’m saving them until we finish the opened ones. However, the salsa is SO good! I’ve enjoyed it with the blue chips and as “salad dressing” for some of my lunches. The flavor is great – sweet but mildly spicy – the perfect combo for salsa in my eyes – or should I say my stomach …;)
Dry roasted edamame! I’ve had these before and love them. They’re great snacky foods and even taste awesome on salads! Although I love spicy things, I can’t eat too many of the wasabi ones at a time – for some reason I find them super spicy – haha!
Lastly, and maybe the best thing in the box..
Thank you Shannon for the wonderful box – I love it!!
I sent my package to Kara at Domestic Endeavors. Head on over to see what I put together
If you’re interested in joining, head over to Lindsay’s blog at this link to sign up!
Have a great day!
