I’m a day late on getting my weekly plan up, but after yesterday’s race, not much got done when I arrived home. The race was not the best, but it was still nice to run my favorite course More on the race this week, but I’ll leave you with my “I’m happy I finished!” photo
Sunday: Out to dinner (in no mood to cook)
Monday: Maple roasted salmon, string beans, and quinoa salad
Tuesday: Turkey Tacos
Wednesday: Pork sauteed with apples, roasted acorn squash, and spinach
Thursday: Crockpot BBQ pulled chicken with roasted potatoes and salad
Friday: Out to dinner
Saturday: Out to dinner (pre-race meal!)
No prep action happened yesterday, so I’ll spend a little down time today chopping veggies and preparing what I can for the rest of our meals this week. Also, I tested my baked pumpkin oatmeal recipe one more time this morning, and it’s a winner! Keep a look out later this week for the recipe
This week will consist of a few runs (1 easy, 1 tempoish) to help recover from this past weekend and get me ready for the Army 10 miler this weekend!
Monday: Other than a dance lesson, foam rolling, and a much needed massage, OFF
Tuesday: EASY 5 miles, strength workout with Jess
Wednesday: 4 miles, Yoga
Thursday: Teaching spin, strength workout
Friday: Light walking – about 2 miles
Sunday: RACE DAY
My plan is set and only a few projects stand in the way of me and the Army 10 miler! Cannot wait
1. Do you have a favorite race course? What is it?
The Atlantic Cit Marathon (and half) is mine!
2. If you can’t find time to prep on the weekends, do you make time during the week or just wing it without prep?
